Hailing from Tucson, Arizona’s Sonoran Desert, the band fuses droning textures, trance-like rhythms, and fluid improvisation—drawing inspiration from the stark minimalism of early krautrock and the spiritual resonance of desert blues.
Their story began with the cult favorite Burning Circles in the Sky (2008), a lo-fi treasure of dreamlike, reverb-laden psych. After a hiatus, they reemerged with Arena Negra (2015) and Hasta La Victoria (2017), albums that ventured deeper into experimental territory by weaving in threads of free jazz, drone, and global folk influences. Releases like Borderlands (2018) and Entranced Earth (2019) cemented their status as masters of meditative soundscapes, balancing loose improvisation with thoughtful structure.
Famous for their transportive live shows, The Myrrors craft enveloping audio landscapes where swirling strings, droning guitars, and pulsing rhythms converge into an almost cinematic experience.
