SYNESTHESIA

Synesthesia is a live, immersive performance—a blending of the senses, where music becomes color, sound evokes shape, and emotion takes visible form in real time. A performance where two mediums breathe as one.



In this intimate collaboration, longtime creative partners Eva Nolia Vae (voice, guitar) and Katja Ivanchenko (live digital painting) invite audiences into a space where their art forms intertwine. Eva’s original solo set, steeped in the raw tenderness of soul, old-school jazz, and the expansive freedom of psychedelic rock, is interpreted and accompanied in real time through Katja’s evolving digital painting. As the music unfolds, so does the image translating sound and feeling into movement, light, and form.



Rooted in the phenomenon of synesthesia where the senses blend and perception expands this performance becomes a multi-sensory act of empathy. It invites the audience to experience and dive deep into somebody else's perspective to discover their own.
