Get ready for a week of connection, creativity, and exploration!
Friendship in the Feld Summer Camp is a summer experience designed for kids aged 3–6. Each day we explore Berlin’s parks, cultural gems, and outdoor spaces in Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte, guided by warm, experienced educators.
With a child-led rhythm, we combine nature play, storytelling, art-making, movement, and quiet reflection — plus the occasional ice cream stop 🍦
🌱 Monday – Curiosity & Creativity
Storytime at a library, outdoor play, and creating “junk journals” from found natural materials.
🎨 Tuesday – Nature Art & Play
A nature walk to collect leaves and sticks, followed by a big painting session outdoors.
🏛 Wednesday – Museum Explorers
An inspiring cultural visit in the morning, followed by picnic, stories, and open play in green space.
👑 Thursday – Crown Crafting & Imagination
Craft whimsical crowns and hats, then step into storytelling and role-play in the park.
🌼 Friday – Weaving & Wildflowers
End the week with flower-hammering, yarn weaving, and open-ended creative expression in wide open space.

Who we are: Meggie and Raela are your teachers with Friendship in the Feld, an early childhood development program providing play-based educational workshops for children. We are two early childhood educators with more than 20 years of combined experience with young children. Through sensory experiences, art exploration and child-led play, we aim to support social-emotional learning and help develop community and school readiness skills.
Info: We gather in a central green space for a calm start to the day with greetings and short introduction to the day's activities and expectations.
Info: We head out to a nearby destination — this might be a library, museum, nature walk, or playground — for exploration, creative activities, and open play.
Info: We enjoy our packed lunches together and have free time to play or pursue creative projects outdoors.
Info: The day slows down with packed snacks, quiet time, stretching, reading aloud, and an occasional small treat like ice cream or popsicles.
Info: We return to our starting spot for a gentle end to the day with big smiles and maybe a little dirt behind the ears!
