SUDESTADA
Lucia Boffo - Vocals and ableton Live
Jeanette Nenezian - trumpet
Camila Nebbia - Tenor Sax
Pia Hernandez - piano
Sudestada is a project that brings together four outstanding Argentine musicians: Pía Hernández (piano), Jeanette Nenezian (trumpet), Lucía Boffo (voice and Ableton Live), and Camila Nebbia (tenor saxophone), currently based between Buenos Aires and Berlin.
Their story began during their early years studying jazz in Buenos Aires, where they collaborated on various projects and shared a parallel artistic growth. Over time, Lucía and Camila continued their paths in Europe, becoming active voices in Berlin’s vibrant jazz scene, while Pía and Jeanette remained in Argentina, firmly establishing themselves within the rich musical landscape of Buenos Aires.
Sudestada marks a powerful reunion of these four creative forces—a convergence of diverse experiences and artistic visions. The ensemble presents original compositions by each of its members, interwoven with moments of free improvisation where spontaneity and collective expression take center stage.
An intimate yet powerful proposal, where distances dissolve and music becomes common ground once again.
