Das Resident Music Collective ist ein interdisziplinäres Ensemble, das 2021 zur Eröffnung des Humboldt Forums in Berlin ins Leben gerufen wurde – und seither die Berliner Musikszene mit frischen Impulsen bereichert. Das Kollektiv vereint herausragende Musiker*innen aus unterschiedlichsten Kulturen und musikalischen Traditionen der Stadt. Bekannt für seine genreübergreifenden, transtraditionellen Klangexperimente, überrascht und begeistert es immer wieder mit neuen musikalischen Dialogen.
Ob in Verbindung mit aktuellen Ausstellungen oder gesellschaftlich relevanten Themen – das Resident Music Collective versteht es meisterhaft, Musik mit Performance, Tanz und Live-Elektronik zu verweben und so einzigartige, sinnliche Erlebnisse zu schaffen, die Publikum und Künstler*innen gleichermaßen bewegen.
Im Anschluss gibt es ein DJ-Set von mokeyanju im Schlüterhof.
Der Abend markiert den feierlichen Abschluss der Global Cultural Assembly, die internationale Künstlerinnen, Denkerinnen und Aktivist*innen zusammenbringt, um über globale kulturelle Themen zu reflektieren und kreative Projekte zu entwickeln.
Begegnungen, Musik, gemeinsames Essen, lebendiger Austausch und geteilte Erfahrungen machen diesen Abend zu einem besonderen Moment des Zusammenkommens im Rahmen der Fête de la Musique.

[EN] Resident Music Collective – Closing Concert of the Global Cultural Assembly
The Resident Music Collective is an interdisciplinary ensemble that was launched in 2021 for the opening of the Humboldt Forum in Berlin – and has been enriching the city’s music scene with fresh impulses ever since. The collective brings together outstanding musicians from a wide range of cultures and musical traditions across the city. Known for its genre-crossing, transtraditional sound experiments, it continues to surprise and captivate audiences with new musical dialogues.
Whether in connection with current exhibitions or pressing social themes, the Resident Music Collective masterfully weaves music with performance, dance, and live electronics, creating unique, sensory experiences that move both audiences and artists alike.
Following the concert, mokeyanju will take over the decks in the Schlüterhof with a DJ-Set.
The evening marks the festive closing of the Global Cultural Assembly, which brings together international artists, thinkers, and activists to reflect on global cultural topics and develop creative projects.
Encounters, music, shared meals, lively exchange, and collective experiences will make this evening a truly special moment of coming together as part of the Fête de la Musique.
