miniLab concert series is a space for sound experiments, improvised and experimental music, focused on female musicians, which began in June 2023 at Galerie ZeitZone.
The 13th edition features four different sets, and as always we have am improvisation with all musicians in the line-up at the end of the event.

Jo summons the Glasambel – her self-developed, ambivalent instrument – to distil a unique performance that explore the outer edges of sonic experience. In her music, Jo dives deep into the hidden and dirty sounds of everyday life, shaping them with sensitivity and weaving wayward patterns into her own sonic terrain.

Laura.aLL is a music project by Laura Leiner. She is an artist and researcher with a multidisciplinary background encompassing music, performing arts, sound art, photography, and journalism. She develops spatial compositions exploring time, intervals and sound layers. Whether playing guitar, objects, synthesizers, recycled instruments, field recordings, or processed sounds, the goal is to create scenarios where the matter that composes all the elements is sound.

Railroad Concrète
Duo started by Heidrun Schramm and JD Zazie in 2017, based on train sounds taken from their private field recording’s archive. �Fascinated by these sounds that accompany their daily life, the duo plays with train noises, inner resonances, sonic landmarks, signals, social sounds and the train station’s acoustic qualities. “Railroad Concrète” constantly develops the collected sound material in its compositions and sound installations, where the sound sources range from the concrete to the abstract, in perfect symbiosis.�"Railroad Concrète" has been presented in Belgium, in Germany, in Austria, in the Czech Republic and Poland and was part of the Q-O2 Art Residency Program in Brussels in 2018.

Doris Steinbichler (Vienna): voice, live looping, fx
A vocal improviser and creator of transmedia performances who travels between Austria and Mexico. Her art is located between free improvisation and noise, creating a dialogue between expanded techniques and interconnections of sound with gestural performativity.
In Mexico she received the Performance Art Award (1993, Ex Teresa Arte Actual) and the Radio Art Award (2001, Bienal de Radio) She founded the artist run gallery Epicentro (1997-2004) and has performed in spaces such as the Museum of Modern Art, Museum El Chopo, Alameda Art Laboratory, Siqueiros Public Art Space, Spanish Cultural Center, the National Sound Library (Fonotéca) and The House At The Lake.
