Mellowdeath is an instrumental nightmare jazz duo featuring Sara Neidorf (Sarattma, Mad Kate The Tide) on drums and Isabel Merten (No Chronicles) on bass. more about Músicas intermináveis para Viagem
M.i.p.V was created in 2004 in Brazil by guitarist Laura.aLL, and since then has been active in the European and Latin American independent scene.
First album “Músicas intermináveis para Viagem” (2006 - Tratore/RN-14) was nominated for the 2007 Dynamite Award (Brazil) for best instrumental album. The second, “M.i.p.V II” (Solaris Empire), released in Berlin in 2011/2012, was praised in the German press, with M.i.p.V being compared to bands such as Durutti Column, Tortoise, Neu! and La Düsseldorf. "Modus Continuous" (2016) brings influences from krautrock, dark jazz and experimental music and was mixed by Martin Bisi, from the legendary BC Studio-NYC, with mastering by Pyrolator - Kurt Dahlke (Berlin).
In 2022, M.i.p.V won a research grant from the Musikfonds (Germany), when the new single "in Tarset" was composed, and later released in 2024. The band is partly based in Berlin, where guitarist Laura.aLL plays with guest drummers and develops a solo work. Drummer Pitchu Ferraz lives in São Paulo and has collaborated with the band since 2009.
