🎵 Incense of Music #65
Immerse yourself in a unique concert blending sound and scent with:
Michael Thieke (clarinet)
Elena Kakaliagou (French horn)
Michael Vorfeld (percussion)
Emilio Gordoa (vibraphone)
As these master improvisers create rich soundscapes, the room will be gently infused with the earthy aroma of burning Cyperus articulatus (Piri-Piri)—a sacred plant used in traditional rituals for grounding and clarity. This sensory layer enhances the listening experience, transforming the concert into a deep, meditative journey.
The Berlin-based quartet was founded in 2015 and draws from the European experimental and improvised music scene, embracing unpredictability and sonic exploration.
