Ever wanted to try drumming but never touched an instrument? This is your chance! 🪘
Whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced dancer, this workshop is for you! 🪘💃🏾
Our goal is to let first-timers experience the power of Afro-Cuban instruments in a group groove – and to help dancers feel the deep connection between music and movement by learning the rhythms from the inside out.

the workshop will be led by Angel Candeaux & Kimo

We'll be playing the essential instruments of Cuban rumba, including:
🪘 Congas (tumbadora, segundo, quinto)
🎶 Clave
🔔 Cata (wood block)
🔔 Shekere & cowbell
