Hill Country Ice House carries on the tradition of the classic Texas icehouse — a gathering place where locals would meet to cool off, share a drink, and swap stories under the open sky.
Long before air conditioning and high-rise bars, icehouses were the heart of Texas neighborhoods. Part general store, part watering hole, and always full of character, they were where the community came together. We’re proud to bring that same spirit back, just outside Austin, with wide open space, shady oak trees, and cold beer flowing from the taps.
