Community Blessings for Hope is eagerly making plans for their 5th Annual Steak Dinner and Live Entertainment. After a recovery of a year from a horrendous hailstorm a year ago, May 20th we are coming back to Main Street. We were ready to be with people after Covid shut us down. Let’s spend a day of healing together again on June 6th, 2025!
Community Blessings for Hope will be starting their first Amazing Blackout Bingo during their annual fundraiser this year. Ensuring that no vendor or business is overlooked during our event this year. Amazing Blackout Bingo cards may be purchased for $5 each. Every participating vendor and business will be given a number on our card to be marked as they are visited. For added fun each business or booth can put their own amazing twist or task that they have to complete to earn their mark. When they have their card completely filled, it can be put in the Dropbox for the drawing during supper. The prize is half of the cash paid for the bingo cards, the other half will support Community Blessings for Hope.
We are asking each vendor to purchase an Amazing Blackout Bingo card with a Steak Dinner ticket for $30 per person and it's $5 for the bingo card. ($35.00) Your paid booth is a valued packed day of networking fun. We are joining TJ Casey and his Giving Back Foundation, hosting our 2nd Annual Songwriters Contest, which required registration is, Thursday June 5, 2025. Entrant will be given a title and must write a song in 24 hours. The song titled given at the time of registration must be included. A $20 fee is required for that event. These proceeds will go to TJ’s Giving Back Foundation. TJ Casey will announce the winners of the songwriters contest after their performance has been judged during the supper and awarded a trophy buckle made by Montana Silversmiths. There will be a live auction of several art prints and other items donated by businesses as well as collectibles. The auction proceeds will go to Community Blessings for Hope. Community Blessings for Hope will be offering hamburgers and hot dog meals at noon for $10. Proceeds to go to the Yuma District Hospital Ladies Auxiliary to purchase another electric lift chair for the hospital patient rooms to help those elderly or weak to be able to reposition themselves safely during their stay. This is a dream of Elma HInde and Community Blessings for Hope when she was taking all day long infusions. We have 7 more medical grade chairs to purchase. Community Blessings for Hope and Elma Hinde Memorial has purchased 2 chairs already. So join us for the day of networking your stores and your services while enjoying a full day and Friday evening of good food, the music and networking with each other to build better Community. Who knows, you might be our Amazing Blackout Bingo winner. Side note First Friday of the summer months used to be our Art Walk, so talented artists are encouraged to display and sell their artworks; paintings, blown glass, sculpting. The talent isn't limited. Remember we have a songwriters contest too.
There will be activities for Children and a Movie at the Yuma Theater too.
