Join us for the saucy side of the secular Renaissance—a summer evening of light, ancient, and delightfully naughty music. From playful madrigals to songs so full of ribaldry we’re lucky they’re in other languages, this is the music your high school choir never dared to sing.
Performed by four of the Voices of Ascension Singers, specialists in Renaissance repertoire, this intimate concert blends music and storytelling to reveal the passion, humor, and humanity of a bygone age. Perfect for a June night when love—and laughter—is in the air.
