Join Our Wyoming Valley CUUPs Community for a Dark Moon Ritual Honoring Apollo!

The Dark Moon Ritual series is a monthly gathering where our community comes together to delve into ourselves. These rituals provide a sacred space for reflection, healing, and connection. Every other month, we delve into the mysteries and teachings of various deities, exploring themes of transformation, shadow work, and personal empowerment.
On alternate months, we hold a Dark Moon Sumbel, a traditional Heathen ritual that offers a period of integration for the shadow work previously undertaken. By engaging in this ritual, we weave together the threads of our individual and collective wyrd, aligning our actions with the greater tapestry that connects us all. It’s a time for spoken truths, remembered deeds, and reaffirmed commitments to personal growth and communal support.
This Dark Moon, we invite you to join us as we honor Apollo, the radiant god of the sun, music, prophecy, and healing. While we often celebrate his brilliance and light, this gathering will focus on the lesser-known, "darker" aspects of Apollo. These facets of his character reflect our own shadows—those parts of ourselves that society often deems "bad" or "unacceptable." By embracing these aspects, we can embark on a journey toward profound self-awareness and healing.
We will connect with Apollo's powerful energy and explore his struggles with insecurity, jealousy, and the relentless need to prove himself. Through guided meditation, reflection, and invocation, we will uncover the hidden lessons Apollo has to offer—transforming pain into resilience and recognizing that our worth is not defined by external validation but by our very existence.
Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to the path, all are welcome to join us in this sacred space. Together, we will honor Apollo's complexities and learn to embrace the entirety of ourselves, recognizing that both light and shadow are essential to our journeys of healing and self-acceptance.
