Paint the Gong REaD at Warrawong Plaza

Celebrate Book Week with us on Thursday 14 August, 9.30–11.30am at Warrawong Plaza’s Centre Stage for Paint the GONG REaD. Our annual early literacy event is a free, fun-filled morning designed especially for families with children aged 0–5
Here’s what’s in store:
🖐️ A special Welcome to Country
📖 Storytime with the Lord Mayor
🎶 Music, singing, craft, and creative play
📚 Plenty of reading fun with our littlest book lovers
🐉 Meet our reading mascots Bright Spark and Billy Backpack
🎁 Kids who complete their activity card on the day will take home a free book and bag to continue their reading adventure at home.
