Pottery Workshop: Sgraffito Pot
Join us for a creative pottery workshop where you'll hand-build your own plant pot and explore the beautiful art of sgraffito—a decorative technique that brings clay to life with texture and contrast.
In this session, you'll start by shaping your plant pot using simple hand-building methods. Once it's formed and leather-hard, you'll apply a colored slip (a liquid clay coating) to the surface. Then comes the magic of sgraffito: using carving tools, you'll scratch through the slip to reveal the clay beneath, creating striking designs, patterns, or illustrations with bold contrast.
