Monthly members meeting

Monthly Members Meeting. Recent Club and members' activities will be reviewed. Upcoming events, both short and long term will be discussed with members' suggestions and input welcome. Business portion of meeting will start at 7 PM, but most show up by 6:15 PM, or earlier, to socialize, order food and purchase tickets for our 50/50 raffle. All are welcome to attend.
This month's speaker will be Barry Lipsky. Barry is the President of the Long Island Diver's Association (LIDA), a position which he has held for many years. Barry is a very experienced and avid diver who frequently dives here in the Northeast (especially Long Island) as well as traveling to more distant locales.
Barry's presentation will be on Vessel Incident Survival When on a Liveaboard. There have been many well publicized and tragic reports in recent years regarding deadly incidents on liveaboard dive boats. This is an excellent program which discusses many ways to increase your safety and chances of survival when on dive liveaboard trips.
