The Theatre Guild of Webster Groves announces auditions for the Sherlock Holmes' classic The Hound of the Baskervilles by Tim Kelly based on the story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Resume and headshot or recent photo are welcome but not necessary. Auditions will be appointment-based, sign-ups will be for a one-hour time slot. Walk-ups welcome, but priority will be given to sign-ups. Additional audition information will be sent to sign-ups prior to auditions including audition sides.

* PERFORMANCE DATES: September 5th, 6th,7th, 12th, 13th, and 14th
- Shows are at 7:30pm, Sunday matinees are at 2:00pm.
* REHEARSAL DATES & TIMES will be determined based on availability of the cast. Please expect rehearsals to possibly begin the week of July 13th.
* All actors must be completely available during tech rehearsals week of September 1st through September 4th (this includes Labor Day)

SYNOPSIS:
Holmes’ most spine-chilling mystery is filled with suspense, humor, and terror. Sir Henry is heir to the vast Baskerville fortune, a legacy that comes with a family curse: death at the fangs of a horror that prowls the moor. Only Holmes can stop the beast. While mysterious lights signal Baskerville Hall and the hound terrifies the countryside, the sleuthing begins and suspicion falls on sinister servants, butterfly collectors, ladies in distress, and escaped convicts. Who wrote the letter that summoned the hound? Is Sir Henry’s romance with the lovely Kathy doomed? Is the supernatural at work?
