The Hot Takes with Tess & the Details and The Strange Ones at Up The Creek

The Hot Takes continue to electrify audiences throughout the SF/Bay Area and beyond with their glamorous Springsteen-esque energy, neon-drenched rock. By uniting the familiar and future through anthemic songs and a dynamic live show, The Hot Takes promise to call you to the dance floor with your fist in the air.

Tess & The Details are a four-piece female-fronted punk rock band from San Francisco, California. They’ve been active since 2023, with the release of their debut album Runaway via Double Helix Records. They’ve also appeared on compilations for Punk Rock Saves Lives, Attention! By Wiretap Records, “Distort The Bay” by Destroy Art Inc. “Pee Approved” by Pee records AU and others.

The band has toured all over California, Portland and more, establishing themselves as a regional touring band with more plans to expand in 2025.

The Details have notably played alongside Fishbone, Swingin’ Utters, The Meteors, The Last Gang, The Drowns, and many more.

The band pride themselves on their work ethic, advocacy for mental health awareness, and just being a really solid rock band with a lot of attention to “details”.

The Strange Ones are an electrifying garage punch rock and roll band out of Oakland, CA, with Kevin O’Connell on vocals, and guitar, Ruben Rios on drums and vocals, Tim Bryant on guitar and vocals, and Dan Bruce on bass and vocals.The Strange Ones’ brand of lo-fi garage rocks is what dreams are made of.
