🇦🇹 Die Tour für Genießer!
165 km voller Highlights warten. Start am Faaker See, weiter am Ortsrand von Villach vorbei Richtung Ossiacher See, den wir aus Zeitgründen auslassen. Über uns thront die Burgruine Landskron, beliebt für Greifvogelschau und Restaurant. Durch das Gegendtal geht es nach Arriach, den geografischen Mittelpunkt Kärntens. Über Himmelberg fahren wir in die Nockberge, über Prekowa-Höhe und Gnesau bis Patergassen, wo wir Richtung Bad Kleinkirchheim abbiegen – bekannt durch Olympiasieger Franz Klammer und Ski-Weltcuprennen.
Über Radenthein (Tankstopp für kleine Tanks) erreichen wir das Nordufer des Millstätter Sees und Seeboden, wo Snacks und Getränke möglich sind. Seeboden ist der Wendepunkt: vorbei an Burg Sommeregg und über das Millstätter Hochplateau mit traumhafter Aussicht.
Zurück über Döbriach, den Hügel „Glanz“ und ins Drautal. Auf einer perfekten Bikerstrecke geht es ins Krastal, vorbei am Marmorsteinbruch mit Bildhauersymposium, dann über Treffen und Wernberg zurück nach Faak.

🇺🇸 An unforgettable journey through the heart of Carinthia awaits!
We start at shimmering Lake Faak, cruise past Villach toward the majestic Landskron Castle with its famous bird of prey shows, then follow the Gegendtal Valley to Arriach, the geographic center of Carinthia. Through Himmelberg we climb into the Nockberge Mountains, crossing the Prekowa Pass and Gnesau to Bad Kleinkirchheim – renowned for Olympic champion Franz Klammer and Ski World Cup races.
From Radenthein (perfect for a quick refuel) we follow the northern shore of Lake Millstatt to Seeboden for snacks and drinks, before looping past Sommeregg Castle and gliding across the Millstatt High Plateau with its breathtaking views.
The return route leads through Döbriach, over the picturesque Glanz Hill, and into the Drau Valley. A flawless biker’s road takes us into the Krastal Valley, past the marble quarry and its international sculpture symposium. The final stretch winds through Treffen and Wernberg, back to the welcoming shores of Lake Faak.

🇮🇹 Il tour per veri intenditori!
165 km pieni di emozioni vi aspettano. Partenza dal Lago di Faak, proseguendo ai margini di Villach in direzione del Lago di Ossiach, che tralasciamo per motivi di tempo. Sopra di noi svettano le rovine del Castello di Landskron, famoso per lo spettacolo di rapaci e il ristorante panoramico. Attraversiamo la valle del Gegendtal fino ad Arriach, il centro geografico della Carinzia. Da Himmelberg saliamo verso i Monti Nockberge, superando il Passo Prekowa e Gnesau fino a Patergassen, dove deviamo verso Bad Kleinkirchheim – noto grazie al campione olimpico Franz Klammer e alle gare di Coppa del Mondo di sci.
Da Radenthein (sosta carburante per i serbatoi più piccoli) raggiungiamo la riva nord del Lago di Millstatt e Seeboden, dove è possibile fare uno spuntino o bere qualcosa. Seeboden è il punto di svolta: si passa accanto al Castello di Sommeregg e si attraversa l’altopiano di Millstatt con una vista mozzafiato.
Il ritorno avviene passando per Döbriach, la collina “Glanz” e nella valle della Drava. Un tratto perfetto per i motociclisti ci porta nella valle del Krastal, oltrepassando la cava di marmo con il suo simposio di scultura, quindi attraverso Treffen e Wernberg per tornare infine al Lago di Faak.
