June 6th, 1944, Allied forces stormed the beaches of Nazi-occupied France, risking everything to confront tyranny. Their courage wasn’t just about that moment - it set a legacy that echoes through our armed forces today, who swear to defend democracy. Honoring them also means recognizing that the fight against fascism didn’t end in 1944, it continues in our current politics, our institutions, and our streets. Join us in honoring their past deeds with present action against the lingering threat of fascism.
