Bookmans River Summer Kids Events: Instrument Petting Zoo Civic Orchestra of Tucson

School’s out and the fun is on! Bookmans is excited to bring the joy of reading, creativity, and community to kids all summer long with our free Summer Kids Events. Designed for children of all ages, these events offer hands-on activities, special guests, live performances, and more—encouraging imagination and discovery in a welcoming space. Whether it’s crafts, science experiments, or storytime adventures, there’s always something exciting happening at your local Bookmans.

Discover the joy of music, one note at a time! On Tuesday, July 1st from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Bookmans River hosts an Instrument Petting Zoo with the Civic Orchestra of Tucson. Kids will get hands-on with real orchestral instruments, learn how they sound, and even try playing them with guidance from professional musicians. It’s a fun, interactive experience that’s perfect for budding music lovers of all ages! 🎻🎺🎶
