Bookmans Speedway Summer Kids Events: Instrument Petting Zoo Civic Orchestra of Tucson

School’s out and the fun is on! Bookmans is excited to bring the joy of reading, creativity, and community to kids all summer long with our free Summer Kids Events. Designed for children of all ages, these events offer hands-on activities, special guests, live performances, and more—encouraging imagination and discovery in a welcoming space. Whether it’s crafts, science experiments, or storytime adventures, there’s always something exciting happening at your local Bookmans.

Discover the magic of music up close! On Thursday, July 3rd from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Bookmans Speedway is hosting an Instrument Petting Zoo with the Civic Orchestra of Tucson. Kids will have the chance to explore real orchestral instruments, hear how they sound, and even try playing a few notes with guidance from professional musicians. It’s a hands-on musical experience perfect for aspiring young performers! 🎻🎷🎶
