The Screen Gabbers Film Discussion Club

Do you ever watch a movie and need to talk about it? Join the Screen Gabbers, TPL’s film discussion club! We’ll gather bimonthly and chat about a movie--no ticket needed! Meet other film buffs, dissect iconic scenes, and discuss your favorite directors and actors. Participants can borrow the month’s movie from TPL (or Kanopy or Hoopla) to watch at home before the meeting. See below for this year’s list of movies:

February 24: Sleepless in Seattle, dir. Nora Ephron

April 28: The Godfather, dir. Francis Ford Coppola

June 23: To Catch a Thief, dir. Alfred Hitchcock (also on Kanopy)

August 25: The Breakfast Club, dir. John Hughes

October 27: Beetlejuice, dir. Tim Burton
