The Jay Bleus Band Live at the Linsmore Tavern for Blues Sunday!

Sunday August 17th, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) is bringing in a blues band that has had many requests to bring in and now we are finally able to do so! The Jay Bleus Band will be performing on our stage for Blues Sunday and we can’t wait as this band is one of the Hottest Blues Acts in Toronto! Only the best when it comes to Blues Sunday and that is definitely the case when it comes to The Jay Bleus Band! Jay Bleus was the Toronto Blues Society’s 2024 Emerging Artist of The Year, so that should tell you how talented this guitar virtuoso is! The show starts at 7pm, there’s no cover!

Jay Bleus grew up listening to guitarist’s such as Buddy Guy, Freddie King & Jimi Hendrix which really influenced his playing style. He’s truly a blues historian and listened and studied the Blues from its conception all the way to the present, so folks like Charley Patton, Blind Boy Fuller, Memphis Minnie, Mississippi John Hurt, etc. All the way to the present day and everything in between including the genres informed by the Blues Jazz, Soul, RnB, Funk, Rock. You name it. This is all incorporate into his very unique style! Trust us when we tell you, that you have got to see this band!
