Advance Directives, Wills and Estate Planning
Have you planned for what happens to your personal belongings after you pass away? Many Oklahomans haven’t planned for this yet. But who needs to make these plans? Do you know how your medical care is going to be handled? With an Advance Directive, you can make those decisions. But what does this mean? In this presentation, you will learn about what a will is, how an advance directive can help you, who is responsible for your belongings after you pass away, and what does it mean to go into a probate process.
This presentation can help you if you find yourself caring for another person who is unable to make decisions for themselves and will require additional care after your passing.
