How to Draw Cartoons!

Meet cartoonist Paul Merklein on Thursday, June 26 at 2 p.m. when he virtually visits the library and teaches us how to draw famous cartoon characters! Win prizes and have fun drawing cartoons! This program is intended for kids, tweens, and teens ages 7 and up.

Paul Merklein’s cartoons appear in newspapers, magazines and YouTube.

** This program is for beginning or intermediate artists who are 7 years or older. The students should be old enough to follow basic instructions, draw simple shapes, and focus on one drawing for 10 or 15 minutes. **
