Mark your calendars for one of the most empowering, energizing, and entertaining youth events of the year! Suffolk Parks & Recreation proudly presents the annual Teen Summit, happening Saturday, August 23, at the East Suffolk Recreation Center, 138 S. 6th Street, Suffolk.
Open to teens ages 11-17, their parents, and adults who work with youth, this year’s summit is themed “Glow Up!” — a high-energy day focused on helping young people shine brighter in every aspect of their lives.
From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., attendees will engage in powerful, interactive sessions covering topics like personal development, leadership, mental wellness, social media awareness, and more — all geared toward helping teens level up in today’s world.
Then, the fun continues with an epic After Party from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., featuring music, games, food, and giveaways — all designed to celebrate and connect!
