Picture the Coast ~ DIY Frame Design Class

In this hands-on class, participants will have the opportunity to decorate a beautifully crafted 5x7 cypress frame using a selection of premium seaside materials. The frame itself is expertly made by a local artisan, using reclaimed weathered gray cypress wood, known for its distinctive grain and durability. This sturdy hanging frame includes a protective glass cover and back for your photos.

Participants will have access to an abundant variety of seaside materials, providing endless creative possibilities to enhance the coastal charm of the frame. Each attendee is allowed to incorporate a maximum of five ultra-premium shells—these include cut shells and a selection of rare finds, adding a touch of exclusivity and elegance to your creation. While the ultra-premium shells are limited, the majority of the seaside materials, such as driftwood, sea glass, and other shells, are available without restriction, allowing for truly personalized designs. We will also provide a variety of chalk paints to distress or paint any of your items/frame.

Whether you’re an experienced crafter or new to the world of decorating, this class promises a rewarding experience, leaving you with a stunning piece that embodies the serene beauty of the ocean.

~ While this class is at Happy Hour Glassworks, it is hosted by She Shore Finds. Booking is available only through Eventbright.

~ If you desire to bring your own sea shore finds feel free to bring them.

~ Class size is limited to 6 to allow ample room and design space for each participant

~ Alcohol is not permitted in class
