As the glass pieces will require an overnight firing in my kiln, we will arrange another time to come and put the pieces together or they can be posted to you to finish off at home.
Looking at various materials included in fusing. i.e.-
Variety of coloured glass
Glass Frit,
Glass Paint
Putting your ideas down on paper before Practice cutting glass into shape.
Creating your pieces after a break for refreshments.
All materials, Kiln Firing*, Safety Equipment and refreshments, including homemade cake!!!!! are included in the price.
You just need to bring your enthusiasm, closed toe shoes and be prepared for a glassy adventure.......
This workshop is suitable for accompanied teens and adults.
*Kiln firings for glass fusing takes between 12 and 16 hours, therefore your glass creations will not be ready to take home with you. We can arrange another time for you to collect your work or I can post them to you for an additional cost.
**Please note: as glass is a natural (and sometimes temperamental) material there is a chance that your piece may crack in the kiln – if you are unlucky enough for this to happen to you our policy is to arrange another time for you to come back and recreate your piece.
