Philip Nye

A St. Louis native, Nye has spent the past couple of years in Memphis, TN, where he released his first single, “Suplex City.”, and is gearing up to release his first EP: Dinner for a Tadpole. Nye’s classic storytelling combined with his ‘chicken-pickin’ guitar playing evokes the sounds of traditional bluegrass and folk music. His style and tone are reminiscent of Blaze Foley, Bob Dylan, and Townes Van Zandt, but his music is unmistakably his own. With just his voice and an acoustic guitar, Nye delivers more soul and energy than a full band. Join us for an evening of original music and tributes to some of the greatest American songwriters. Expect fast picking, folk ballads, and a night packed with excitement!
