'In Your Hands' Exhibition Opening

This exhibition of work explores the rich tradition of quilting through both abstract acrylic paintings and one-of-a-kind handmade quilts, showcasing the intricate patterns, vibrant colours, and emotional resonance of this generational tradition. Artist Emily Pittman collaborates with her mother Theresa, a lifelong quilter, to honour the legacy of grandmother Bernadette who passed down this cherished craft. Featuring contemporary paintings alongside new and heirloom quilts, In Your Hands transforms the gallery into a warm, home-like setting that celebrates family heritage and artistic craftsmanship.
