Playful Print: Collagraph (for 7-13 year olds)

Enjoy exploring printing techniques with printmaker Ellen Love.

Experiment with collagraph, a textural approach to printmaking. Through creating collage-like surfaces make a collection of playful prints using a printing press.

Take inspiration from the works of artists such as Julius Olsson and Wilhelmina Barns Graham who painted in Porthmeor Studios to as your prints take shape. In this workshop, you will become familiar with the process of “intaglio” printmaking, printing from a textured surface.

For children aged 7-13, these Summer workshops are like no other, where children get to work in our studio overlooking the sea and use the same high art quality materials as our adult courses. They are taught by experienced artist tutors and leave feeling inspired with beautiful work. An ideal opportunity for your children to channel their inner artist, in our historic studios, whilst you relax.

Please Note - Locals Summer workshops with Cornish subsidy are 2pm to 4pm.
