Ink + Paint + Paper (for 7-13 year olds)

Learn how to create atmospheric artworks on paper, inspired by images of the wild landscape of Cornwall, using acrylic inks and paint.

See how Cornish based artist Steven Buckler depicts his surroundings in a dramatic way through his use of rich, deep earthy tones and expressive loose mark making.

Learn from Steven how to be selective about what you include in your image. Then make a series of monochrome thumbnail drawings and progress into exploring tones, textures and colours using acrylics inks and paint.

For children aged 7-13, these Summer workshops are like no other, where children get to work in our studio overlooking the sea and use the same high art quality materials as our adult courses. They are taught by experienced artist tutors and leave feeling inspired with beautiful work. An ideal opportunity for your children to channel their inner artist, in our historic studios, whilst you relax.

Please Note - Locals Summer workshops with Cornish subsidy are 2pm to 4pm.
