Join Springfield Brewing Company Athletics + Urban Land Institute SWMO Young Leaders Group for a casual, no-
drop 5.5-mile bike tour exploring Springfield’s past and present! This event is targeted to emerging professionals
under 35 who want to deepen their understanding of how our city has evolved—and where it’s heading next.
We’ll cruise through 9 key stops that highlight Springfield’s rich history and future—think Wild Bill Hickok,
Bonnie and Clyde, Civil War-era courthouse tales, and more—while also touring recent and ongoing
development sites that are changing the urban fabric of our city for the better, including the Fairbanks Bike Shop,
completed portions of the Grant Avenue Parkway, and the transformative Jordan Valley Creek daylighting project.
This is a relaxed ride at ~5-10 mph, perfect for all skill levels. Waivers have to be signed and will be available at
5:01pm on the street-level patio of @BrewCo, where we’ll start and end the ride. The event is free—just bring a
bike!
