“Life’s Essentials Drive”
For Contact Ministries
Sunday June 1st
We will be meeting at the American Legion Post 32
Sign-up at 12noon, KSU @ 1pm
We will ride to Contact Ministries on 11th St and hand deliver our donations.
Then we will ride out to Mama Lee’s Sandbar for FREE Sloppy Joes & Chips.
ALL STREET LEGAL VIHICLES ARE WELCOME.
Staff members have said that a few of the most needed items are:
Toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, hand/face towels, pillows, shampoo, conditioner,
women/children socks & underwear, pull ups. sippy cups, bottles, wipes, toothbrushes,
deodorant, laundry soap, NEW children’s clothes/PJs (boys & girls), gift cards for purchasing new
tennis shoes for the school aged kids. CASH DONATIONS are very welcome.
We will have a vehicle for hauling any larger items you may bring that won’t fit on your bikes.
Also: we will be setting up donation locations again this year at the Springfield area Walmart stores

Let’s all come together to support this worthy cause. Funds seem to start to run low in June.
Other groups, such as ABATE & Sid Wood do toys run during the Christmas season, but those
donations don’t last forever.
As with everything Flatland Riders does, ALL MCs, RCs, Orgs, Groups, etc are welcome to attend
and participate. We are not 1%ers, nor 99%ers, we are 110% supporters of everything bike, biker or
Bike Lover. All are welcome no matter Race, Color or Creed. As far as this event goes, it’s all about
the Kids, Families, and Women living at Contact Ministries.
