According to the accusations of most skeptics, and granted by many Christians, the only way we can know that Jesus is risen from the grave is our internal experience of the living Christ: our personal testimony of faith. On the contrary, I will argue that the historical evidence, considered neutrally and fairly, points strongly and clearly to the historicity of Jesus's resurrection. We can know that He lives, not just because He lives within my heart, but also because the historical evidence supports His resurrection. Question & Answer to follow talk. - Pastor David

Tawa Anderson was raised in a post-Christian family in Edmonton, Alberta, and came to know Jesus at age 17. With experience as a pastor and college teacher, Tawa now serves as Associate Professor of Philosophy & Apologetics at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Tawa is the author of Why Believe: Christian Apologetics for a Skeptical Age, the co-author of An Introduction to Christian Worldview, and editor of Truth: Lectures from Defend the Faith 2025.
