Hi there!
My name is Scott Istvan and I am running for Somerville City Councilor At-Large! As part of my campaign, I want to host events for the community, and one of my favorite types of parties to host is a board game night. So, we're bringing it to the masses! Join us from 12 - 3 pm at Portico brewing for an afternoon full of games, drinks, and tacos.
We will have volunteers teaching their favorite board games as well as running various one-shot roleplaying games. You are also welcome & encouraged to bring games to play with others!
For lunch, tacos from El Barrio (inside of Portico Brewing) will be free from 12 to 1 pm
Schedule of events:
12:00 - Event start. Mingle, chat, find games you might be interested in.
12:30 - Welcome speech (it'll be short, I promise).
12:35 - RPGs and longer board games start.
1:00 - last call for free tacos.
1:00 to 3:00 - various shorter & social games running
3:00 - Official event end; but you're welcome to keep playing and hanging out as long as Portico is open!
