Paint with Susan Watkins/acrylic

" As a professional artist creating background murals and dioramas for museums I have enjoyed using these same techniques in creating small 3 D pieces. I am willing to share those with you! This class will combine some sculpture fun as well as painting techniques where we will focus on composition, light source and values developing your own 2D and 3D mixed media piece. We will paint three of my favorite Alaskan landscape icons: birch trees, fireweed and mountains together.
The first night we prepare our surface and lay out our trees. The second class we carve our trees and paint the entire scene. You go home with a unique piece.
Drawing experience needed.
