The Shark is Broken ~ presented by Stage Center's LEFT OF SERIES

Stage Center (SC) proudly announces the final Mainstage production of their 14th Season, The Shark is Broken, part of our exciting "Left of Center" series, opening August 15, 2025, for a one-week run at Marjorie Lyons Playhouse on the Centenary College Campus. FADE IN: The open ocean, 1974. Production on JAWS is delayed…again. The film’s lead actors—theater veteran Robert Shaw and young Hollywood hotshots, Richard Dreyfuss and Roy Scheider—are crammed into a too-small boat, entirely at the mercy of foul weather and a faulty mechanical co-star. Alcohol flows, egos collide, and tempers flare on a chaotic voyage that just might lead to cinematic magic…if it doesn’t sink them all.

Starring Youree McBride Jr. as Robert Shaw, and Logan Sledge as Roy Scheider. The role of Richard Dreyfuss will be announced at a later date.
