Songs at Dawn 3 - with al fresco breakfast

Experience the varied birdlife of the Steyning Downland Scheme.

April and May are the peak months for bird song, with the breeding season in full swing. The Steyning Downland, with its mixture of habitats, supports an excellent variety of bird life. Come for a short and gentle walk to find out what can be seen and heard at this important time of the year.

Over 100 species have now been seen on the SDS. We should see or hear about 25 species on the day, including outstanding songsters such as the Chaffinch, Song Thrush and perhaps even Nightingale.

Al fresco breakfast included!

At the end of our walk, you will enjoy an al fresco breakfast outside our SDS Gateway Building.
Please note, this is an adult nature connection event but under 18s are also welcome. Children aged under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
