Unearthing the Past at the Rifle Range (Family Event)

Bring your family to go back in time at the Steyning Rifle Range. Join in on our archaeological dig. A fun day out for all!

This event is run by volunteers of the Steyning Downland Scheme, who are restoring the Rifle Range as an educational resource.

Unearthing the Past day attractions include ..

-Archaeological Dig activities for young people.
-Art/craft activities for 5 - 11 year olds
-WW1 and WW2 style refreshments
-Military Camp Recreation (with chances to model and hold deactivated rifles).

Please note: This is a disused rifle range and no live firing now takes place.
