At this relaxing Summer Day Retreat we'll be exploring the Celtic 'fire' festival & astrological event of Mid-Summer also known as Summer Solstice. The retreat itself falls on the Summer Solstice weekend!!
Mid-summer invites us to feel into the energy of celebration as we reach the peak of daylight hours & the longest of days & warmest of weather. With this peak we may notice our physical energy is at its highest as we find ourselves in action or out and about.

THE RETREAT
After a short meditative walk in nature (weather permitting) to ground & connect with the earth we move into our cacao ceremony which opens the day beautifully.
We'll feel into the full moon energy to connect with anything we're ready to release so any intentions can more easily come into being via a simple fire ritual.
Along with drinking the cacao and enjoying a guided journey meditation we'll use journalling yoga mindfulness gentle breathwork and other activities during the weekend to give intention & attention to magnify anything we may be birthing creating or focusing on right now.
Each day there'll be two yoga sessions along with a nourishing plant-based lunch and afternoon tea & healthy cake - you'll be well on your way to feeling more nourished & centred.
Also weaved into each day will be a mini-body-work treatment (m@ssage) or energy healing session and a life-coaching session as well as a wellness talk or workshop (all activities are included in the ticket price and are optional).
YOGA:
There will be a variety of styles taught across the weekend with options given for all levels/abilities. Each day has two sessions. There'll be Vinyasa (flow) in the morning and Yin (passive relaxing stretches) in the afternoon.
Inspiration is drawn from areas such as the 5 Elements Theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine the Chakra system and Sarah's knowledge around naturopathy nutrition and plant energetics.
Sarah also likes to weave in aromas in the form of pure essential oils and smokes from woods & herbs. The experience is further enhanced with carefully curated playlists as well as silence.
COACHING:
Life coaching with Marcin Hansz - your optional coaching session has been designed to help you identify and/or understand challenges in a chosen area of your daily life or in general.
This awareness could be the first step to start transforming your life towards a more fulfilling path.
Practical tips or tools will be shared where relevant.
Also included is a complimentary optional 15-minute chemistry call with Marcin your coach ahead of retreat to understand what's involved & whether it's for you.
3 slots per retreat day are available or can be taken online before the retreat.
TREATMENTS & HEALING:
Your ticket price includes a mini-m@ssage or healing. There are also a limited number of tickets without treatments.
FOOD:
Food - everything will be plant-based seasonal and made with care. This includes fruit in the breaks lunch afternoon tea and healthy (and very delicious!) cake. Additional dietary requirements can be catered for please tell us when booking.
TICKETS
You are welcome to come for the whole weekend or pick just one day. The weekend ticket is discounted. Contact me directly if you wish to avoid ticketing fees.
WHY A DAY RETREAT?
To get the experience and benefits of a yoga retreat but for a day (or two!). Potentially not travelling too far and spending way less than a yoga holiday. Also easy to fit into a full or busy life!
