National Trails Day Bike Ride at Mountain Creek Park

Join our ranger for a group ride at Mountain Creek Park and be a part of the Carolina Thread Trail's celebration of trails and the outdoors on National Trails Day!

About the ride: This 5.25-mile route begins at the park’s pump track and follows a lollypop loop on the south side of the park for a ride that is easy enough for a novice but challenging enough for an experienced rider. Varied terrain consisting of fast, flowy runs and sections with climbs and technical features makes for a balanced ride with habitat changes and views along the way to keep it interesting.

Meet at the pump track shelter for a prompt start at 8:30 am. Please bring adequate hydration and dress appropriately for the activity and weather conditions. Bikes are not provided; helmets are required. The event is free and open to ages 8+ (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
