Create Your Own Nature Journal for Tweens & Teens

Spending time in nature can increase happiness, curiosity, and creativity. When your child creates their very own Nature Journal, they will be motivated to go outside and observe the natural world around them. Our workshop starts with a lesson on needle felting to create a unique journal cover of their own design using wool and other creative embellishments. The journal can be assembled and decorated in any way your child desires using colored paper, stickers, beads, feathers. We'll then take a short adventure outdoors in the beautiful natural surroundings of Places In Time Farm to observe and make notes of trees, flowers, sunset, ponds, creeks, birds, little goats and so much more! Parents or guardians are welcome to stay throughout the workshop and share in this wonderful experience! BLM, LGBTQIA+, diversity, equity and inclusion, open and affirming.
