🎶 Get ready for a band spectacular!! "MUSIC TOGETHER"
It’s a Twofer! The Port Townsend Summer Band and the Sequim City Band are coming together for two free concerts. The combined band will feature more than 100 musicians performing a shared program of music for wind band.

These free public concerts will showcase selections from both ensembles. The Port Townsend Summer Band, directed by Marge Rosen, will present a program of film music, including Back to the Future, Return of the Pink Panther, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Harlem Nocturne will feature alto saxophone soloist Maria Powell.
Under the direction of Tyler Benedict, The Sequim City Band program includes Fanfare Esprit by Carol Britton Chambers, Jaime Texidor’s, Amparito Roca, Choose Joy by Randall Standridge, and Tiptoe Through the Tubas—a playful parody of Tip-Toe Through the Tulips.
Each concert will conclude with the combined bands performing John Philip Sousa’s The Thunderer.
Bring your friends, family, chairs, and refreshments, and enjoy an afternoon of music from two of the Olympic Peninsula’s community bands. Both groups are all-volunteer ensembles supported by audience contributions.
