Art 101: Collage Workshop with Artist Saree Robinson

About the workshop-

Led by local artist Saree Robinson, we will each create a collage for the New Moon on June 25. The New Moon is a wonderful day to plant seeds of intention for our future visions and goals. Using magazines and found images, we will each make a 11 x 14 inch collage celebrating our visions for the future- may that be our personal future or our collective future! Saree will teach simple techniques to create a smooth and harmonious collage image to take home with you. She will be on hand to help with the process and answer any questions you may have. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to gather and play with the medium of collage!

Prerequisite- NONE
Age- 18+

Class length - 2.5 hours from 6-8:30pm

Materials Fee $10

*Saree will provide the art paper, magazines and glue you will use to create the artwork. Please bring your scissors! You are also welcome and encouraged to bring any images you wish to include in your piece. Optional bring an art apron to protect your clothes from glue smudges.

About the Artist -

Raised in rural Vermont by an artist mother, Saree has been making collages her entire life. Having settled in Sebastopol CA, Saree makes her collages and mixed media creations full time. Saree is inspired by astrology, music, nature, fashion, and travel. Saree loves to help people find and express their own creative voice. Saree’s work can be seen in Sebastopol at Kinfolk Hair Salon, and in the hallway at Cock Robin in the Barlow.
