The Episcopal Diocese of Olympia—a network of 100 churches across Western Washington—marches in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community, celebrating God’s love for all. Grounded in our Baptismal Covenant, we commit to "respect the dignity of every human being" through action: building affordable housing, serving unhoused neighbors, and resettling hundreds of immigrant families annually.
Our churches welcome everyone—not just through our doors, but at our tables and behind our pulpits. Over half of our active clergy identify as women, BIPOC, and/or LGBTQIA+, reflecting our belief that the church thrives in diversity. Together, we strive to create a beloved community where all are cherished.

The 2.5-mile route starts Downtown on 4th Avenue and the Diocese of Olympia staging area is between James & Jefferson Streets. The parade ends at Seattle Center.
Stay tuned for timing and parade staging area, as well as parking, worship, and other info! We're grateful to Trinity Parish, Seattle, for their hospitality and hope to stage there if this year's step on point is nearby.
T-shirts will be gifted to all participants, signs will be provided, as will other merch to hand out, but feel free to bring your own homemade sign, candy, and/or flag too! If you're coming with others from your own parish, feel free to bring your church banner, and we invite clergy to march in clericals.
We'll e-mail you additional details and the cell number of our point-of-contact as we get closer to the parade date.
