SR³ (SeaLife Response, Rehabilitation, and Research) is a local nonprofit that operates the Pacific Northwest’s only marine wildlife hospital. Their expert team of responders, scientists, and educators works year-round to address the growing threats facing seals, sea lions, whales, and other marine species—from entanglement and climate change to habitat loss and food shortages. This engaging talk offers a behind-the-scenes look at SR³’s work, including cutting-edge drone research, hands-on emergency rescues, and impactful community outreach. You will be inspired by heartwarming rescue stories, jaw-dropping animal encounters, and the opportunity to be part of the ripple effect driving real conservation outcomes.
