Saturday, June 7, 2025, come celebrate Pride in PhinneyWood with a joyful, family-friendly, and multi-generational event that brings our community together through creativity, color, and connection. The Rainbow Hop uplifts LGBTQIA+ voices and reminds us all that everyone belongs.
Here’s what’s happening:
🎭 9:30 AM – Kick things off with a free anti-bullying play at Taproot Theatre (great for all ages).
🗺️ 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM – Follow the Rainbow Hop map along Greenwood Avenue to enjoy dozens of colorful, Pride-themed activities hosted by local businesses and organizations.
📚 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM – The PNA celebrates Pride in our Blue Building for our 3rd year with dance, fun. Drag Queen Storytime at 10:30 & 12:30. 70s Discotheque with DJ Turtledove from 10-1:30. Zaphara & Racoon Carnival for Bellydancing class at 11:30. Outdoor concert with Neon Brass Party Band & AGAB (Assigned Gay At Band) presented by Seattle Folklore Society in our upper parking lot 1:30-2:30.
🎨 Crafts, music, performances, and surprises all along the route!
🕺 All-ages dance party happening inside the PNA Blue Building.
🦓 Pick up a map and collect 6 activity stamps to earn a free Woodland Park Zoo ticket (redeem between 12:30–1:30 PM in front of HomeStreet Bank—look for the guy in the rainbow cowboy hat).
🎉 Maps will be available starting May 27 at the Phinney Center Blue Building or online.
