#10Trail Challenge Kickoff!

This July, the #10Trail Challenge will be back for the 8th year in a row! COL is proud to partner with local business sponsors, county parks, other land conservancies, and the Michigan DNR to bring you this fun-filled, competitive hiking challenge.

The challenge isn’t just a checklist—it’s a choose-your-adventure through the wild and wonderful places that make our region special!

This year’s challenge includes 15 local trails spanning from Covert, Michigan down to LaPorte, Indiana. You'll have the chance to explore everything from wildflower-filled prairies and towering dune overlooks to peaceful forest paths and wetland boardwalks. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just looking for a fun way to explore more of our region, the challenge is simple:

🥾 Hike 10 out of 15 designated local trails.
🎁 Earn prizes, epic photos, and collect this year's #10Trail sticker!

Registration will open Friday, June 20th.
